Senate Committee Passes Measure to Repeal Don’t ask Don’t Tell Policy

***JOIN my Gay Pride page on Facebook and stay up to date on what is happening in the LGBT community*** Today, Thursday May 27th, a Senate committee passed a measure that would repeal the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy barring openly gay and lesbian soldiers from military service, but only after a military review of the matter and subsequent approval by President Barack Obama, the defense secretary and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
