That’s a good point, I never really looked at it like that and I did do a LOT of pressuring to get my parents to buy me what I wanted from them, my son did the same thing too. Hmmm, interesting. They are on my ban list now anyway, bastards! It’s not even like the book was about the gay parenting issue per se, it’s just that one of the girls had two moms. Scholastic sucks!

I have never been a big fan of scholastic. They go into schools and the kids think they just have to have a book. This forces parents to spend money they may not have.
Libraries are a better source of materials to read that is easier on the budget.
