Exclusive Gay & Lesbian Jewelry, Necklaces and Pendants
The 1138 Jewelry Collection at Love and Pride is all about teaching people just how much is at stake when it comes to denying gays and lesbians the right to marry. There are well over 1000 different rights and privileges they don’t get as protection for their family for no other reason but the fact that they are not recognized as a “real” couple because they are gay.
The jewelry in this gay rights charity themed jewelry line is made to get people talking about the issue. By choosing it for yourself or someone as a gift, you are giving a stylish piece of jewelry that can also be used as a tool for teaching the realities that gay and lesbian families have to deal with on a day to day basis.
Their unique designs have all the elements that make jewelry fun. Gold, silver, stainless steel, diamonds and all kinds of exciting buts and pieces that will keep you putting the rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces on again and again.
It’s also important that I bring up the fact that 10% of each jewelry purchase is donated to Lambda Legal to fight for everyone couples rights to have marriage equality in every sense of the word. Soon, with your support, those 1138 rights will no longer be withheld from gays and lesbians in love and ready to commit to their partners for life.
Here are some of my top picks from the Love and Pride 1138 line of jewelry:
I like this one the most because I am always lusting after punk sapphires. I know, it’s so typically girly but what can I say, pink rocks, especially if it sparkles. This silver lesbian necklace has two interlocking circles, each with one side of the chain attached. I like this fact, yes, it means you can’t wear the chain with other pendants in your collection, but who cares!
One of the bands is channel set with pink sapphires all the way around, like an eternity band. and the inside is stamped with the iconic 1138 logo. You can only buy this exclusive necklace at Love and Pride as part of this marriage equality jewelry line. It’s a great way to show support for the cause.
You can’t miss the meaning this this affordable bracelet. I can guarantee you people will be asking what the number means and that they will be shocked at just how much gays and lesbians miss out on in terms of their same sex marriage rights. Very few people realize just how many rights are only for heteros.
This bracelet is stylish and socially conscious. I love that 10% of each sale from this line of gay jewelry goes to fight for equality. You can even get this gay bracelet in different lengths for men and women.
This gay necklace too has the signature two interlocking circles but this time they are made out of gray titanium. Once of them is engraved with 1138 and they are both wrapped in the super sexy black suede cord that transitions into the necklace itself.
With any of these pieces of gay and lesbian jewelry from the 1138 collection, you get some unique and highly attractive jewelry and there are pieces for guy and gals. So take a look, buy some jewelry and donate some money to one of the biggest fights around: Same Sex Marriage EQUALITY.

I want to show my support for my mom (who is lesbian) at our upcoming family reunion by wearing some kind of rainbow (or otherwise identifiably “gay”) jewelry. The rest of the family extremely homophobic but she insists we both go. (Honestly, I’d like to continue to show my support for her, and the gay community generally, in this way after the reunion too .) I am a student, and seriously, I live off ramen noodles. Do you guys have a sample or damaged piece or something lying around that you could send me? I know it’s a stupid question, but I really want to show my support, and keep her from feeling alone, so I just thought it was worth asking. Thanks so much either way!

not gay myself, but passed this on to a couple lesbian friends of mine who love jewelry. Cool thing you are doing. Good way to promote the cause and sell a neat product.
