Gay & Lesbian Commitment Rings
I have good news for all of you who, like me, are sick and tired of waiting for equality. The New York Times and CBS News just conducted a study that shows a huge improvement on the same sex marriage movement. With these new numbers it’s clear to see that a marriage amendment is right around the corner.
This same sex marriage study found that 42% of Americans across the nation now say same sex couples should be allowed to legally marry. It’s up a whopping nine points from just last month! Back then, in March only 33% supported legalizing same sex marriage. With a jump like that I can almost taste the marriage amendment and I love it.
There was only 28% percent of those polled who said they felt that same sex couples should have no legal recognition. That number has gone down from 35% in March, that is great news, again in just a month that’s positively spectacular.
The last 25% of those who took part of this poll support civil unions, but not marriage for gay and lesbian couples. Still clearly the last month has seen a big jump in the support of same sex marriage and a new federal marriage amendment.
All progress is good progress.

It’s about time that people started thinking about what is really fair and just in the “free nation” of America. Same sex marriage should be exactly the same as men/woman marriage.
