There are lots of different ways to support the rights of lesbian, gay, and transgendered people, and one of my all time favorites is wearing jewelry, especially necklaces. In fact, I’m not the only one, this is one of the new and more popular ways to either declare your allegiance or show your support.
When you are looking to buy a lesbian necklace either to support your friends or to show your pride try to find one that rises above the typical garish fare that is so prevalent. It is not that all gay pride jewelery is tacky, but really it seems like some of the more cheaply made stuff really is just setting back the cause. Few, actually I can’t think of any, can beat Love and Pride gay jewelry store online.
You will find a number of different styles to choose from when picking out a lesbian or gay necklace. Some are simple with clean lines and angles and others are all about texture. Others are more intricate, showcasing different symbols or expressions. There is a style out there for anyone interested in showing support to equal rights and peace. Whichever lesbian necklace you choose, be sure to pick one that uniquely showcases your personal styles and feelings towards the subject.
Depending on your budget it is also advisable to pick a lesbian pendant that is made of quality materials. Many on the market are made of cheap materials that tend to break over short periods of time. If you are one of the lucky ones who has a cheap gay necklace that doesn’t break then feel lucky, but know that it will still discolor in a short period of time.
If you are new to the pride jewelery scene, and are looking for lesbian accessories then a gay necklace is definitely the way to go. Think about it; they can be hidden under clothes if you are ever in a situation where you are uncomfortable to show your pride, and a lesbian necklace is not as permanent as a piercing. Not that you will be changing your mind any time soon, but you might decide that blue is a better color for you then green.
In any event the most important thing when picking a lesbian necklace is that you like it. You won’t be showing any gay pride if you don’t wear it, and you wont be wearing your new lesbian necklace if you think it’s ugly. So choose your lesbian necklace carefully, it will probably be with you for a long time, and hopefully will help show the world your sense of pride.
